Macedonia

Lake Ohrid is set against a stunning backdrop on the border betweeen Macedonia and Albania. Bars and clubs on the lake are perfect for evening drinks and are open until 6am! A dip in the icy lake is well worth the trouble despite the initial shock upon entry…….

Liechtenstein

In Liechtenstein its possible to get bright sun, rain and feel cold in the same hour. A tiny mountain principality, only 25km long by 6km wide it doesn’t even have an international airport! The main point of interest is the castle, oh and the fact they sing German lyrics to the tune of God Save the Queen in their national anthem!

San Marino

San Marino is an interesting place to visit. It is a landlocked enclave completely surrounded by Italy and claims to be the oldest sovereign state in the world. The drive up to the castle is stunning and weather unbelievable!
